Star Staffing Makes Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies List

Inc. 5000 list honors fastest-growing private companies that wield powers of strategy, service, and innovation.

Star Staffing, the premier staffing resource for Northern California employers and job seekers, is proud to announce its inclusion in the Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Companies list. An annual list that includes what Inc. calls “the superheroes of the U.S. economy,” past honorees have included Intuit, Zappos, Microsoft, Clif Bar, Pandora, Oracle, and other notable alumni.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies in America two years running and moving up on the list each year,” says Nicole Smartt, Vice President and Shareholder of Star Staffing. “This success is testimony to our team’s creativity, resilience, and tenacity in offering the best services possible to clients and employees alike.”

According to President and Editor in Chief Eric Schurenberg, the average company on the 2016 list grew a mind-boggling 490 percent, results most businesses only dream of. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

“The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great—usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows.”

The Inc. 5000 event honoring all companies on the list will be held October 18–20, in San Antonio, TX. Speakers include best-selling author Tony Robbins, SoulCycle co-founders Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice, Cornerstone OnDemand CEO Adam Miller, Marvell Technology Group co-founder Weili Dai, and New Belgium Brewing co-founder Kim Jordan
