In fact, Smartt’s book, From Receptionist to Boss, was just honored and made a part of the required curriculum at Sonoma State University for business majors. She wrote the book to coach and inspire those building a career and to find passion in their work-life. Smartt spends much of her time counseling and working with all her team members to find the best outcome for their future.
The Lodi office will be headed up by Regional Manager, Letty Smith, who also oversees the Napa and Fairfield offices for Star. She has been in the staffing industry for over 16 years and is a local and graduate of UC Davis. Letty opened the Fairfield office for Star and now brings her extensive expertise and knowledge to the new location. Eager to get out and meet the community, Letty and her team will be hosting, answering career questions and serving drinks at the upcoming Lodi Street Fair on May 7.
